This week’s selection features a collection of works that pay homage to the Great Masters of Western Art. In each of the presented works is a reference, a visual clue or compositional structure that alludes to the works that helped shape the canon of Western art.
From the Renaissance to the masters of Modernism, the works in this week’s exhibition borrow inspiration from the history of art as they sample motifs, shuffle images and revisit the visual elements that compose our collective visual lexicon.
